Adonis was founded in 1979 by the brothers Lebanese Elie and Jamil Cheaib. Inspired by its roots in the Middle East and the idea of bringing culture to a new world, the brothers and their friend Georges Cheaib Ghrayeb developed the idea of changing the typical food of the Middle East to North America.
